Position Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our production, construction, and engineering functions while ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets are met. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day activities across manufacturing, engineering, and production while driving operational efficiency and business growth. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily operations across production, engineering, and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgets, P&L, A/R, A/P, and cash flow.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and WIP reporting.
  • Track project performance, costs, and margins with corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead and negotiate change orders, communicating scope, cost, and scheduling impacts.
  • Support project planning, sequencing, and conflict resolution.
  • Step in as Project Manager when required.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects from Sales hand-off through execution and close-out. You will lead budget development, contract negotiations, and resource planning to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

You will manage HSE compliance, quality standards, project financials, schedules, risk, and all related administration. Beyond project delivery, you’ll mentor the project team, improve processes, and optimize project support software.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects of varying size and scope aligned to estimates, schedules, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with HSE and QA/QC teams to develop and implement standards, safe work plans, ITPs, and quality processes.
  • Manage project costs, budgets, and forecasts; provide accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Oversee schedules, scopes of work (SOWs), and readiness for mobilization (RFM) to meet milestones.
  • Provide contract management: review/negotiation, obligations stewardship, RFIs, and management of change for cost extras.
  • Lead RFQs for subcontractors/vendors, review proposals, approve bids, and resolve performance issues.
  • Manage design/engineering subcontractors; ensure compliance with permits, codes, and specifications.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
  • Prepare PEPs (Project Execution Plans), progress reports (daily/weekly/monthly), and project invoices.
  • Chair and attend stakeholder meetings; communicate status clearly and consistently.
  • Own the handover process between Sales, Project, and Construction teams.
  • Foster strong client and team relationships; mentor staff and plan resources.
  • Support Sales/Estimating on proposals with cost, schedule, and resource inputs.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years managing complex, multi-location projects.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Position Overview

Are you someone who loves diving into the details, solving problems, and creating accurate project estimates that help bring incredible structures to life? At Edge Inc., we’re looking for a Project Estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in delivering top-quality work.

As a Project Estimator, you’ll play a key role in helping us plan and execute fabric structure projects. From reviewing tender documents and blueprints to analyzing labor and material needs, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our bids are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Operations, and Procurement teams to bring everything together seamlessly.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare and submit accurate project cost estimates using internal estimating software.
  • Review proposals, blueprints, and project specs to determine labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Analyze and calculate costs for supply, installation, service, and repair projects.
  • Collaborate with Operations to refine estimates and scopes.
  • Gather and incorporate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Manage the handover process after project award.
  • Prepare and submit bids, quotes, and RFQ responses.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Keep estimating data systems and project documentation organized.
  • Assist with post-project reviews to identify improvements for future estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and risk management procedures.
  • Support Sales with project-related transactions and supplier pricing updates.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction, estimating, or a related engineering field.
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with bids, contracts, and estimating processes is an asset.
